Jade is an author and artist based in southeastern Ohio.
Her poetry, essays, short stories, and visual art have been featured magazines across the US and internationally. In 2018, she won an award in poetry at Ohio University’s Student Spring Expo.
Currently, she is working on a BA in English and is writing her undergraduate thesis on feminist, queer, and psychosocial representation in contemporary fiction. She is the Head Fiction editor for Sphere Magazine, an editorial assistant for the New Ohio Review, and a researcher for Ohio University.
Jade grew up in the Midwest and has always been interested in the use of art as personal and cultural expression. Since college, she has devoted her studies to gothic literature as well as feminist and queer studies.
